I love Girls on the Run DC because…

  • It teaches young girls to be strong and independent…the guidance they may not otherwise get.
  • The curriculum presents ideas and positive ways of thinking that are very practical and easy for girls to implement in their own lives. My nine year old uses the “I feel” lesson all the time.
  • It is one of the parts of my career in DCPS I am most proud of and it continues to amaze me every season – seeing the girls grow…thank you for the continuous positive spirit of GOTR DC. I love you!!!!
