We’re excited to announce that the Girls on the Run - DC end-of-season Community 5K will take place on Sunday, November 24 at an exciting new venue – The Fields at RFK! This event is not just a 5K, it’s an inspiring celebration of our program participants, bringing together family, friends, and community supporters to cheer them on.

It was an evening filled with inspiration, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to empowering young girls in our community.

We’re still bursting with excitement from our Annual Sneaker Soiree held at District Winery on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

More than a running program, Girls on the Run - DC helps participants improve and grow their competence, develop strength of character, create positive connections with peers and adults, and make a meaningful contribution to their communities and society.

Now, through March 31, 2023 you can vote for Girls on the Run - DC and help direct Target’s local giving to support girls in our community! 

Tuesday, November 29 is Giving Tuesday, a worldwide campaign that highlights the power of generosity. We're thrilled to take part in this movement so that even more girls can benefit from our program’s ability to change lives.
